Self Portrait.jpgFlutist Jennifer Tersero has been performing and teaching privately for over 25 years. She currently maintains a studio in Bryan, Texas, for students who are selected by interview. She teaches at all levels, from beginners to young professionals, adult amateurs, and students wishing to audition for university bands and orchestras. Ms. Tersero retired from the United States Air Force Band in 2021, where she performed with the United States Air Force Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, and various chamber ensembles. In addition to her military career, Ms. Tersero has performed with the National Symphony, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and was the principal flutist of the New Hampshire Philharmonic. 

A graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, MI, Ms. Tersero received a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance. She then attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI on a full-time assistantship, where she was a member of the Graduate Wind Quintet and Battle Creek Orchestra. She graduated in 1996 with a Master of Music degree. Ms. Tersero also holds a Master of Science degree in education from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. 

Ms. Tersero is currently a member of the Music Teachers National Association, the Texas Flute Society and the Brazos Breeze Flute Choir
