I have been a professional flutist and instructor for 25 years. My husband and I relocated to Bryan/College Station, Texas in 2022 after we retired from our musical careers in the United States Air Force Band, Washington DC. I have performed and taught clinics and private lessons throughout the United States and Europe. I've worked with students of all ages and abilities, including children as young as six, university students, and adult students in private and group settings. I've had the honor of working with many fine musicians and have enjoyed helping students meet their goals and grow as aspiring musicians.

I recognize every student has different reasons for studying flute. Whether it's playing flute for pure enjoyment, deciding to pursue music as a career, or playing in a college band or community orchestra, it is my job to support your journey. I take a dynamic approach to teaching where I encourage an exchange of ideas between teacher and student. Every student has different goals and unique learning styles. I try to tailor lessons to meet individual student learning and goals. I expect all of my students to play at their highest level through commitment and dedicated practice.
